Post 2: We are coming for you! Promise…

And we are all excited about it! Like kids in a candy store. Our guts are responsible really. We just listen to what they tell us and we go with it. Full force, no messing around. This deep rooted trust in something greater than us has brought Epiphany this far and it just feels right. We can’t stop! It’s kind of an addiction.

From time to time, we wonder… “Can we really do this? Can we really see this global impact we dream about come to fruition?” and always the answer is “Well, if it’s not us, then who?” Who will change this world? We have to. It’s our moral responsibility. We have a technology that will allow suffering people to suffer no more. We have a passion that won’t allow us to disappoint. And if that’s not worth putting everything else on hold for, then what’s really the point. We know this will save lives. We know we need to bring water to the people. Why should the US citizens consume so much when others have none? None because it’s simply not available. For those who cannot help themselves, we are coming to help.

This whole idea started with bringing water to the needy. The reality of the impact that this technology will have on a global scale has evolved tremendously. Epiphany is the solution to the global water crisis. Lots of people claim it. We know that. The truth is, lots of those people do indeed have amazing technologies. And we think that’s really great! We are not competing. We are all working toward the same end goal.

We just happen to have one HUGE advantage. Our friend, the sun. Yes, yes, we know…solar this and solar that. Everyone has some type of solar powered widget. Epiphany takes it a giant leap further. A different ballgame, if you will. How exactly? Well, you’ll have to keep following the blog (this is too good to let the cat out of the bag yet! Or you can contact us and we’ll tell you all about it with the small exchange of a confidentiality agreement;-)). But, imagine this. Imagine providing purified, pharmaceutical grade water to every single person on planet Earth without the need for electricity. The ability to use ocean water, rain water, any other water based fluid, clean it and drink it all at a fraction of the cost of previously available technologies. Completely off the grid. Imagine no longer.

For now…we are talking seriously backbreaking work, sleepless nights, hours upon hours of meetings, hitting the pavement and doing everything we can to make this a GO! We’ve got people on 2 coasts and everywhere in between voluntarily working their butts off. Juggling two or three jobs to make it happen. And cash flow is dwindling….big surprise. Our founder is working tirelessly from our modest headquarters in small town New Castle, Pennsylvania (previously the home of his Dad’s family-run candy company) trying to convince investors that this is a no shit, real deal. They will become millionaires, most probably billionaires. This is the investment of a lifetime. We’re getting there but, you guessed it, there’s a lot of convincing that needs to happen. That’s because it’s almost too good to be true…almost.

Excited yet? We hope so. Help us out. Take a load off. Share the news to anyone with a business mind and a few bucks to invest. In fact, why not? Share it with everyone. The more awareness about Epiphany, the happier we’ll be.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.”

Post 1: Getting a Taste

Do you know what is happening in the world as a result of lack of clean water? Before we launch a full-fledged blog, let us fill you in on some daunting facts. We want our readers to be up-to-date and informed. We wouldn't want to get ahead of ourselves!

8.2 million people are afflicted by waterborne illnesses every day. A child dies every 30 seconds from waterborne illness. 50% of all hospital admissions are caused by waterborne illness. There are up to 5 million deaths annually. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The threat of water shortage is no longer just associated with developing and Third World nations. This is a global water crisis. It's real. The end of this natural resource is imminent. The time is now...

This is where we come in.. It's all we think about. This is what we dream about, work for every day, and what our lives are dedicated to solve. We've got it (the solution that is), we know it, and we need your support.

Project Eviive is a nonprofit organization that will partner with individuals and corporations to sponsor solar-powered water purification systems made by Epiphany Solar Water Systems (SWS) for communities in the developing world. Our solution is simple, affordable, and sustainable...we just need to get the word out.

Here is how it works...Project Eviive will install Epiphany SWS' water purification systems on college campuses to demonstrate sustainable water purification. The water produced by these systems will be sold to students at a nominal cost, and all proceeds from the campus partnerships will be used to provide systems for the developing world. Patrons who sponsor one of these partnerships will plant a seed by enabling the installing of additional community systems around the globe, thereby initiating a viral effect. Simple as that...sustainable fundraising, sustainable systems.

Our initiative began and remains focused on providing water to those in need. We define ourselves by this goal. It's who we are and what we will accomplish. We just aren't the kind of people that take no for an answer. It comes from upbringing. Just so happens, by solving that, we subsequently solve the anticipated water shortage from which developed nations will also suffer. It is right around the corner. Believe it. Read about it. Unless we do something now, we'll all be counting our gallon usage in the not-so-far-off future.

Welcome to the Epiphany Solar Water Systems blog.

Join us as we are about to change the world. Help us save lives, one gallon at a time...
